I hope everything works out for her okay. Maybe she learned her lesson now and will stay out of the way next time.Samihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10526719522655590053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3118441378396281397.post-73441270208652381792009-03-13T06:07:00.000-07:002009-03-13T06:07:00.000-07:00I have decided to learn and teach from this incide...I have decided to learn and teach from this incident. We love Baxter a lot, but since his injuries are only worth about $200 to us, I am going to sit him down and have a long talk with him today about the UPS truck.

In all seriousness (which I am being totally serious about that dollar figure), Baxter has a dog bed in the garage and he is trained to lay on it whenever we are moving one of the vehicles. I am not a master dog trainer and I am not sure the dog can sit or shake, but he does lay on his dog bed and "stay" every time an ignition is turned over out here.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3118441378396281397.post-72678380736975605862009-03-12T20:27:00.000-07:002009-03-12T20:27:00.000-07:00Hi J!I have been following your blog and trying to...Hi J!

I have been following your blog and trying to keep up with your family! My heart goes out to you about Daisey. Don and I have a 10 month old Golden Retriever who got hit by a car 2 weeks ago and we spent over $1300 fixing a broken leg and are now nursing a puppy with pins in her leg who is not suppose to run or jump. YEAH RIGHT! I'm with you - if someone would have told me 2 weeks ago that I would spend that much money on a dog I would have called them crazy - but love does strange things to us - even if it is for our canine family members.

Keep up the good work with your chickens - sure wish I had fresh eggs in my back yard!

Love in Christ,
Annetta M. This is why when we married that my parents (not the most emotional people) and I were like, whoa what is this crazy thing that is leaking (crying)?

So I have a retarded dog and a rather emotional wife...great.

I love you honey!EJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03097104523130167651noreply@blogger.com
