The benefit of the doubt

Me: "Oh no!  A bird pooped on our sun roof.  How gross!"
Bubba: "Mommy, what did the bird say?"
Me: "I don't think he said anything.  I think he just pooped."
Bubba: "Maybe he said, "That looks like a potty."

    Of course that's what he said. Because who would not poop in the potty. :)
