I have weed wacked once or twice in my life. Like seriously, once or twice. Years ago. Before we had children. I make no bones about not doing any yard work at all now. I am pulling my weight without ever lifting a finger outside. If I so much as have to feed the dog I am likely to freak out.
This brings to mind two of my favorite quotes from the movie, Steel Magnolias: "Take a whack at Wheezer!" and "That which does not kill us, makes us stronger."
But you're right, FC, it's not as fun as it sounds!!
Damian bought a smaller one...just so I could use it. It is NOT as fun as it sounds! I do it occasionally, but only when I am desperate because it kills my arms, not to mention I waste a lot of string and usually hit dirt often which is not good for the lawn! LOL

I've done it once and will never do it again. I'd rather hand clip everything than run one of those...ouch! That's man's work!
