OUR FIRST EGG!
The excitement around here is thru the roof! We have been waiting for this day since September when we got the chicks.EJ and the Cowboys found the egg tonight. We all celebrated with a happy egg dance! From what we understand these are "pullet" eggs. They are still kind of soft. Life is getting pretty interesting at the Farm!

ReplyDeleteYeah! Let the fun begin! When you left the message last night, Doc and I were bathing the kids and we both caught the end of the message and thought you were saying YOU only had one...as in baby. LOL We had to go back and listen to it again and both said "OOOHHH, the chickens!"

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That's so awesome when the first egg is found! We texted photos of our own soft shelled first egg to about 50 people! LOL!
ReplyDeleteIf no one has mentioned it yet - be sure you make some oyster shell available to your chicks - that will help firm up those shells.
